KCB wins Arm & Hammer Essentials Performance Award
Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is proud to announce we are this year's recipient of the Arm & Hammer Essentials Performance Award for the Greatest Number of Community Structures Cleaned!
KCB will receive $1,000 to put towards next year's Great American Cleanup.

Cincinnati Wins "American Recycler Video Award"
Cincinnati is the first winner of the Cans for Cash: American Recycler Video Award.
The award is a new part of the national Cans for Cash City Recycling Challenge that rewards U.S. cities for recycling aluminum beverage cans. The U.S. Council of Mayors, Novelis Inc., and Keep America Beautiful selected the winner.
Contestants were encouraged to incorporate the 2009 campaign theme: "Recycling starts with I CAN." The video contributed by Cincinnati shows people of all ages recycling and holding signs that say "I Can."
The City of Cincinnati will receive $5,000 to enhance local recycling efforts.

Volunteer to recycle at the UC home football games this fall
Volunteers at the first three home games of the season have recycled an incredible 2.2 tons of material! Come help do even more to reduce UC's environmental impact and make the campus more sustainable.
Volunteers will receive t-shirts, snacks and will be able to get into the stadium to watch some of the game if you help recycle during the game.
